If the weather is nice, I highly recommend getting on the Lovers Open Cruise Canal Cruises and admire the city from the water
Third winery: Babylonstoren! Honestly this wine estate is so big, you could spend a whole day here. They have several shops, a museum, a huge garden and multiple restaurants
Our AirBNB was located in this building and I highly recommend it! Rooftop with a view on Table Mountain and Lions Head, pool and a bar. Also great security so it feels super safe
Oranjezicht City Farm is open wednesday evening, saturday and sunday so we headed here for dinner. Such fun vibes, good food stands and cute stalls
We ordered a poke bowl from The Poke Co. and ate it on our rooftop for a chill and cozy night in
Make sure to reserve a table at Linguini! They also serve gluten-free pasta on request. Local tip: get the penne ala vodka!
There are 4 different Clifton beaches and people will always tell you to go to the 4th. My advice? Go to Clifton 2nd to avoid the crowds, its so much nicer here!
Probably Cape Town’s favourite smash burgers. We got them to go and took them with us to our sunset spot
Just at the end of Chapman’s Peak Drive, you’ll find this restaurant at the right hand side. We stopped for dinner and had chicken piri piri, beef bites and calamaris. So good!
Early breakfast at home before it’s time to get an Uber to Franschhoek. For this day we didn’t rent a car, we just Ubered from winery to winery which was totally fine!
Fourth stop: the old lighthouse! Fun fact: they had to build a new lighthouse further down the cliff because this one was too high up and due to the fog, the boats couldnt see this lighthouse. Hike up to the top, the view is worth it!
Explore this cute canal-district area featuring vintage & designer boutiques, plus cozy cafes for a local shopping experience
First winery: Boschendal! They take walkins for the wine tastings at The Deli, so you don’t need a reservation if you come early
Table Mountain has a gorgeous view over the whole city. It takes about 2-3 hours to hike up but you can also take the cable car up if you prefer to take it easy. Tip: get the fast lane ticket, as lines can get super long!
Rent a car and explore the other parts of the city! First stop: Muizenberg is your hotspot for surfing and is known for the colorful beach huts
Last stop: Chapman’s Peak Drive Lookout Point. Take this route at sunset for the best views and stop at the lookout point
Scandi breakfast spot next to our airbnb, they also had delicious food out that you can get for lunch/dinner. We didn’t try it but definitely want to next time we’re in Cape Town!
Second stop: Boulders Beach, also known as the pinguin beach. Try to come as early as possible to avoid the crowds!
Tip: go to this spot for sunset!
Spent the rest of the afternoon at the beach for a little tanning and picknick session
