10 years of curating custom travel lists and google maps. Lived like a local in Canggu, Barcelona, Nice, Mexico City, and Shanghai during a 6 month sabbatical and 18 months of remote work. If you love whimsical days & winding walks, frequent breaks for delicious bites, dirty martinis, design centered hotels, and nights where you end up under a disco ball, you’re in the right place. I plan trips that lead you to all the must-see spots but leave space for spontaneity and a little chaos.

Delicious casual burger if you can’t make it to Au Chevel
This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago for 10+ years. It has the BEST steak tartare in the world and I’ll fight anyone who disagrees. Great homemade pastas and cocktails as well. Solid dirty martini
If you can get in, get in. The vibes are immaculate and “Midwest Nice”
Bring a blanket and a cheeky bottle of wine and hang in the park for a bit
Take yourself out to a ballgame! One of the coolest stadiums in the US.
Super tasty tavern style pies. Everyone hears “Chicago” and thinks deep dish. I love a deep dish from Pequads, but you can’t be eating that all the time. Zarella’s is what you want to eat so you can keep exploring
A local’s beach vibe. BBQ, volleyball, cookouts, and blue skies & waves
It’s not a trip to Chicago without at least one (if not two) Chicago dogs.
We love a shuffle in Chicago. If you really want to play a Chicago sport you’ve gotta check out WhirlyBall too.
You got glitzy Chicago at Gilt Bar, but there’s also the grimy classic midwest dive bars that define this city. Mom’s place is a wicked fun time. Don’t forget the shots of malort. We love a live band karaoke night!
Great coffee, pastry, and breakfast items.
Grab a glass of rosé along the river
There’s no shortage of bars and dance halls here. Choose your own adventure!
Call ahead for a Peiking Duck or roll up for a plate of BBQ pork for under $10. Either way it’ll blow your mind.
One of Chicago’s favorite neighborhoods. Game days are chaotic and wonderful, go early and soak it all in. Do not try to drive in this area on a game day tho…
Time for a true neighborhood staple and my favorite brunch spot in the city. The Blackberry Blisscakes are heavenly. Fluffy pancakes, overloaded with blackberries, marscapone cheese, and homemade granola. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They don’t take reservations, so go early!
Fun fact: I was Amy’s first employee in college. Support a local, woman-owned business and indulge your sweet tooth
Another place I’ve been coming to since before I was born 🤣 This Greek spot is a must whenever I’m home visiting my parents. The Athenian Chicken or Gyros Plate are my go to’s and you have to get either with the Greek fries.
At a minimum grab one of their special coffees with a donut on top!
