The role

We are looking for a full-stack engineer who cares as much about how the app feels as about the systems behind it, and wants to build social consumer products.

You will work across our iOS, web, and distributed-systems stacks to bring the Boop experience to life: creators sharing trips, travelers getting inspired, copying and creating itineraries, and friends booking together. We are building for iOS and the web (with Android coming later). The apps have to stay fast on large data sets and a lot of media, and talk efficiently to both conventional services and the agent.

What you'll build

• Integrations with travel affiliate APIs (flights, hotels, experiences) so an itinerary can be booked from the page.
• Booking and creator payout, from the UI through the booking backend to conversion tracking and rewards.
• Commerce woven into the itinerary, alongside the agent and mobile engineers.
• Database schema design and performance tuning.

What you'll bring

• 4+ years building and shipping production apps on iOS, the web, or both.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools, and a clear view of their limits.
• A strong sense of mobile UI/UX: you care how an interaction feels.
• UI patterns in SwiftUI or React, deep in at least one: views, view models, repositories, services.
• A solid grasp of network connectivity: batch and streaming HTTP such as REST, Server-Sent Events, and WebSockets.
• Some experience with TypeScript (Node.js) services, and comfort writing a spec before you build.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping A/B experiments and collecting high-volume product metrics.
• Some understanding of media fundamentals: streaming codecs, transformations, thumbnail generation.
• Android native mobile development.
• Location-based and maps SDKs (Mapbox, Google Maps).
• Advanced voice-based interactions.
• Shopping or booking flows on mobile.
